Debbie has served in various areas of ministry in the Church of the Brethren including Brethren Volunteer Service, Intergenerational Ministries and the Open Roof Ministries.  She is currently serving on the Anabaptist Disabilities Network as a field associate. 
As congregations seek to serve the communities around them, one area of need is being inclusive of those with disabilities.  What physical plant changes are needed; what sound equipment; what types of programs etc.
